A couple days ago I write a little article <\/a>about one particular bit of strange behavior by my VAR.\u00c2\u00a0 I must recant part of my original post.\u00c2\u00a0 Granted, I knowingly did exaggerate (as stated), but there are other details that need clarification.<\/p>\n

I previously stated that my account manager at my VAR contacted me via email to keep in touch and ask if I needed anything.\u00c2\u00a0 This part is true.\u00c2\u00a0 I also stated that I responded via email with a list of three open items.\u00c2\u00a0 That is also true.\u00c2\u00a0 What is not true is when I stated the VAR did not bother replying.\u00c2\u00a0 It turns out that even though I and my VAR have frequent email communications, his email that day was singled out and spamdropped<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Also, I exaggerated about\u00c2\u00a0the time frame.\u00c2\u00a0 It wasn’t three weeks ago, but 5 business days.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the account manager did call me back an hour or so after I called him.\u00c2\u00a0 We sorted out the details, found out his email was lost and that solutions to my issues were to be had.\u00c2\u00a0 All of my open issues ended up being resolved with 24 hours.\u00c2\u00a0 The happy ending\u00c2\u00a0doesn’t make for an\u00c2\u00a0exciting story, but it is the truth.\u00c2\u00a0 I still say VARs are a funny breed, though.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
