SolidWorks Blog\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/solidworksblog\/2012\/03\/need-solidworks-to-do-more.html\">Need SolidWorks to do more?<\/a>\u00a0 The article covers how to submit bugs and enhancement reqeusts.<\/p>\n<p>Briefly, users should submit bugs to VAR.\u00a0 A VAR can quickly determine if the bug is known or unknown and how best to address it.<\/p>\n<p>Requests for new functionatality in SolidWorks (known as Enhancement Requests) may be submitted through the Customer Portal on the SolidWorks website.\u00a0 However, always check to see if someone already has submitted a similar request, so you can vote for theirs instead.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If your request is for new functionality in SolidWorks, the first place to search is the <strong>Knowledge Base<\/strong> in the <a title=\"SolidWorks Customer Portal\" href=\"http:\/\/customerportal.solidworks.com\" target=\"_self\">Customer Portal<\/a>.\u00a0 The Knowledge Base has quick how-to instructions.\u00a0 It also has a list of outstanding enhancement requests from other customers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Anyway, I invite you to check out the <a title=\"Need SolidWorks to do more?\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.solidworks.com\/solidworksblog\/2012\/03\/need-solidworks-to-do-more.html\">article<\/a>.\u00a0 It thoroughly covers the submission process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote up an article on the SolidWorks Blog a couple weeks ago.\u00a0 It can be used as a resource to guide users\u00a0to the area where they can\u00a0submit their requests to improve SolidWorks.\u00a0 The article is called Need SolidWorks to do more?\u00a0 The article covers how to submit bugs and enhancement reqeusts.
