SolidWorks World 2013\" href=\"https:\/\/events.itnint.com\/sww13\/regonline\/RegLogin.aspx\">sign up to attend<\/a>, you are given the option to take a free SolidWorks certification exam at SolidWorks World. \u00a0My advice is that if you do not yet have certification, take the exam! \u00a0It&#8217;s free with your full conference pass!<\/p>\n<p>There are two entry points for certification on SolidWorks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SolidWorks Certified Associate (<a title=\"CSWA requirements\" href=\"http:\/\/www.solidworks.com\/sw\/support\/796_ENU_HTML.htm\">CSWA<\/a>) which covers basic SolidWorks skills.<\/li>\n<li>SolidWorks Certified Professional (<a title=\"CSWP requirements\" href=\"http:\/\/www.solidworks.com\/sw\/support\/797_ENU_HTML.htm\">CSWP<\/a>) which covers deeper understanding of SolidWorks skills. \u00a0This certificate is required to qualify for advanced exam modules as you work your way to earning <a title=\"SolidWorks Certified Expert\" href=\"http:\/\/www.solidworks.com\/sw\/support\/CSWE.htm\">CSWE<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;ve heard that some people shy away from taking the exam because they are not confident in their skills. \u00a0 I&#8217;ve heard this from some well experienced individuals. \u00a0If you have neither certification and are nervous about the exam, then attempt the CSWA exam. \u00a0If you are already a CSWA or have been in industry for awhile, than take the CSWP-CORE exam. \u00a0 Preparation is still very important in either case. \u00a0There are plenty of materials that are available to help get yourself read for the exam. \u00a0There&#8217;s even a <a title=\"Sample CSWP exam\" href=\"http:\/\/files.solidworks.com\/services\/certification\/CSWP-CORE_Sample_Exam2010B.pdf\">sample exam<\/a> with which you can practice!<\/p>\n<p>The exams are held on <a title=\"Exam information\" href=\"http:\/\/www.solidworks.com\/sww\/CSWP_CSWP_Certification.htm\">Sunday, January 20, 2013<\/a>, the afternoon prior to the official start of SolidWorks World 2013 at <a title=\"Reservation information\" href=\"http:\/\/www.solidworks.com\/sww\/Hotel_and_Travel.htm\">Disney&#8217;s Swan and Dolphin
