visit<\/a>, I headed on down to Huntsville, AL last week. \u00a0I was able to meet with a lot of SOLIDWORKS customers and users. \u00a0I presented at the April 2015 meeting of the <a title=\"North Alabama SolidWorks User Group\" href=\"http:\/\/www.naswug.com\/\">North Alabama SolidWorks User Group<\/a>\u00a0(NASWUG) about the topic of Model Based Definition (MBD), how to apply it within SOLIDWORKS. \u00a0I also demonstrated the new <a title=\"SOLIDWORKS MBD\" href=\"http:\/\/www.solidworks.com\/sw\/products\/technical-communication\/solidworks-mbd.htm\">SOLIDWORKS MBD<\/a> product which streamlines SOLIDWORKS for MBD processes and provides 3D PDF output for non-CAD consumption for the purpose of contributing to\u00a0Technical Data Packages (TDP).<br \/>\n<center><br 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/center><\/p>\n<p>There was a lot of great questions by user group meeting attendees about implementation<a title=\"Model Based Definition Wikipedia article\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Model-based_definition\"> Model Based Definition<\/a>, the standards that support Model Based Definition (such as <a title=\"MIL-STD-31000\" href=\"http:\/\/model-based-enterprise.org\/Docs\/MIL-STD-31000A%20released%20on%20ASSIST%203%2013%202013.pdf\">MIL-STD-31000<\/a>), and <a title=\"PMI\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Product_and_manufacturing_information\">Product and Manufacturing Information<\/a> (PMI) solutions available in SOLIDWORKS, such as <a title=\"SOLIDWORKS DimXpert\" href=\"http:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2014\/English\/SolidWorks\/sldworks\/c_dimxpert_dimensions_and_drawings.htm\">DimXpert<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><center><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\"
